And it's not because your baby is difficult or has sleep issues
It's just the way babies are: they are TERRIBLE sleepers!
Unfortunately our society wants you to fight against that.
From the minute your baby arrives, it's all anyone can talk about.
"Is he a good sleeper?"
"Sleeping through the night yet?"
"You want you baby to self-settle right away."
"Have you read (insert sleep book here)?"
There's an insane pressure out there to get your baby sleeping as certain way, which flies in the face of how babies actually sleep.
And then there's the professional advice.
One health professional tells you to let your baby self-settle, while another says it's okay to feed your baby to sleep...
No wonder it's so darn emotional for us mums!
